The 3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari -Fly to Kihihi is a short, luxurious safari tour package that leads you to the home of the world’s highest population of mountain gorillas, ”Bwindi Impenetrable National Park” located in southwestern Uganda regions.
This trip is crafted for travelers who prefer a short travel journey- fly with Aero Link Uganda, a domestic flight based in Entebbe Airport.
It only takes 1:30 hour flight from Entebbe Airport/Kisoro Airstrip or Kihihi Airstrip, the nearest landing airstrip to Bwindi/Mgahinga National Park.
The trip starts and ends in Entebbe.

Detailed Itinerary
Day1: Fly to Kihihi Airstrip 01:30 hour flight
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport with an early morning flight/depending on your location in Entebbe, connect to Entebbe Airport for your domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Daily flights operated by Aero link /safari link depart Entebbe Airport for Bwindi at 7 am/10:15hours and arrive at Kihihi airstrip hours/11:25 hours. Upon arrival at Kihihi Airstrip, you will be welcomed by our safari driver-guide and be transferred to your booked lodge ‘’1hour drive’’. Arrive and check in to rest, have dinner, and overnight at Buhoma Lodge – Luxury Lodge /Four Gorilla Lodge- Mid-range
Day2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Wake up early and have an early morning breakfast served with packed lunch boxes. Your driver will pick you up and drive you to the park headquarters for a short briefing about the rules, regulations, and expectations of gorilla trekking. Afterward, you will be accompanied by the ranger, and you’re free to ask many questions about gorilla trekking. The trek can take 1 to 7hours, depending on their location. Once you find them, you will be allowed one hour to watch them play, feed, and learn about their lifestyle, as well as enjoy your packed lunch boxes. After a great encounter, hike back to the meeting Centre to be awarded a certificate which shows that you’re successful in gorilla trekking. Meet up with your driver-guide to drive you back to the lodge. Or optionally, go visit the Batwa community village where you enjoy their traditional dance and storytelling. Have dinner and an overnight stay as above.
Day 3: Fly back to Entebbe Airport
After a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and then be transferred to Kihihi Airstrip, which is a 2-hour drive, to fly you back to Entebbe International Airport. Flights depart Kihihi Airstrip at 9:45 hours/11:40 hours and arrive in Entebbe at 11:25 hours/13:30 hours. End of the 3-day Bwindi Gorilla Luxury Tours –Fly Kihihi.
