Day 1: Drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park-Kisoro district
After having your breakfast, leave Kampala or Entebbe for Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Kisoro, Southwestern Uganda. This will be a long road-trip of 8-10 hours but includes stopovers at Equator crossing, lunch at Agip hotel/Igongo Cultural Centre. Next proceed on Mbarara-Kisoro route and upon early arrival, check into your lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga National Park
Enjoy your breakfast and later, assemble at park offices to have yourself briefed about the regulations for gorilla trekking. You will first be verified by park official and you join others for briefing. With your water and snacks, at 8:00am start a trek to explore Nyakagezi gorilla family which is the only habituated gorilla family group in Mgahinga. You will have one hour after locating where this group and you take pictures, learn more about their daily behaviors. Retreat from your exploration with Nyakagezi gorilla group and relax at the lodge.

Day 3: Golden monkey tracking & visit the Batwa
Have breakfast early in the morning and after, report to Mgahinga park offices for briefing about golden monkey tracking rules. By 8:00am, you and the park guide will start a trek to see golden monkeys and you have a chance to also spot birds and other wildlife. After one hour with golden monkeys, walk back to have lunch and relaxation. Next, will be visiting the Batwa community for a thrilling cultural experience.
