Day 1: Traveling to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda
Breakfast early in the morning and after, travel to Bwindi from Entebbe or Kampala via Mbarara-Kabale. On your journey of about 8-9 hours, you have a chance to make stopovers at Equator crossing for photo taking and Igongo for lunch break. Get to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, your destination to check in at your lodge for overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park
Wake up for an early morning breakfast and after, head to Bwindi park head offices for briefing with some snacks and bottled water. Get to know about the gorilla trekking rules and you will be allocated to a gorilla family. By 8:00am, you will be led by park guide on a search for mountain gorillas in the wild. Taking you about 2-6 hours, your gorilla trek will also let you come across some birds and other interesting wildlife. After coming across gorillas, you will have a maximum of 1 hour with gorillas and for photography.
Walk back to the lodge for relaxation and later, go interact with Batwa pygmies. The Batwa once co-existed with mountain gorillas for a period of about 500,000 as hunters and gathers. Today, you will have a chance to explore their lifestyles, traditions, enjoy dances, music performances and discover their unique ancient hunting and gathering techniques.
